Who we are
We study, build, and invest with a single purpose: to help bring Bitcoin into the institutional mainstream on honest, durable terms. Our work spans original research, proprietary software, and the disciplined allocation of our own capital. Three disciplines that reinforce one another.
We are independent by design. Because we deploy our own balance sheet rather than manage money for others, we can take a long view and let the evidence lead.

What we do
First-principles, independent research on Bitcoin's role in monetary systems, market structure, and institutional adoption. We publish rigorous, data-backed analysis rather than opinion.
We design and build proprietary software and tooling for the Bitcoin ecosystem. Engineering is held to an institutional standard: auditable, secure, and built to last.
We allocate our own capital with conviction. Bitresearch invests strictly as a principal. We do not manage third-party funds, take custody of client assets, or solicit outside investment.

Headquartered on Avenida Duque de Loulé, we combine the stability of the European Union legal framework with a global Bitcoin perspective. Portugal gives us a serious, well-regulated home from which to do serious work.
